Tony’s Italian Grill decides to close temporarily after employee tests for virus

first_imgENDICOTT (WBNG) — Tony’s Italian Grill says it will close its doors due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19. The health department did not send a public health statement to 12 News. As a result, Tony’s says it will be closed until July 26 out of an abundance of caution. The restaurant says the employee received their test results Sunday evening and the last time the employee worked was July 13. As of Monday afternoon, the restaurant says it has not heard anything about the positive case from the Broome County Health Department but alerted the public itself to “offer transparency.”last_img
